Midland Nazarene Church in Michigan Scraps Older Sound System But Keeps Vintage Ashly AmpsMIDLAND, MI — For an audio upgrade at the Midland Nazarene Church, Center Line Technologies scrapped all of the previously-installed gear from the 1970s and 1980s except for a pair of still-working Ashly FTX-1501 MOS-FET amplifiers. To bring the sound system up to modern standards, however, Center Line’s Tony Rogalski kept the vintage Ashly amps for monitors and opted for newer Ashly components and processing to drive church’s new JBL system at FOH.
