SEATTLE, WA - Symetrix named Jeff Sondermeyer director of engineering and chief technology officer. Prior to Symetrix, Sondermeyer worked for nearly 20 years at different companies including Peavey Electronics, Mackie Designs and Analog Devices (ADI). At ADI, where he served as as senior field apps engineer, Sondermeyer helped Symetrix integrate ADI's Sharc and Blackfin chips into Symetrix products.

"We feel very fortunate at this time to have Jeff on board to manage the execution of our strategic product initiatives," said Dane Butcher, founder and CEO for Symetrix. "Having supported Symetrix for the past 10 years, I have an appreciation for how the company works," said Sondermeyer, adding that part of his role at the company would be to "continue fostering the culture at Symetrix that wins loyalty from contractors and other industry clients."
