DENVER, CO - An L-Acoustics K1/K2/Kara system was supplied by Brown Note Productions for Global Dance, AEG Presents and Live Nation Concerts Decadence: City Beyond Tomorrow New Year's Eve event. Attracting approximately 18,000 electronic music fans on both December 30 and 31, Decadence hosted performances from some of the biggest names in EDM.

ANAHEIM, CA - Chuck Surack, Sweetwater founder and president, received the Don Johnson Industry Service Award in recognition of his support for, and advocacy of, music education. The award was presented to Surack at the national convention of NAMM Jan. 27 during NAMM's annual "Support Music Session." The Don Johnson Industry Service Award was established 10 years ago by Musical Merchandise Review magazine, an affiliate of FRONT of HOUSE. The magazine's January issue features a cover story about the award, with an extended interview with Surack. Pictured here, Terry Lowe, publisher of both magazines, presents the award to Surack.
