LAS VEGAS - Sound system designer Bob Heil will be presenting "A History of Live Sound" at the Shimmer Lounge at the Hilton in Las Vegas. The event, coinciding with the NAB show at the Las Vegas Convention Center nearby, is set for April 13 from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Heil will discuss his start in the concert sound business, designing gear for The Who and their Quadraphenia tour, the Talk Box, Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, and his current thoughts on microphone design.
