ANAHEIM, CA - Mackie's Thump TH-12A is an ultra-compact new addition to its Thump Series of portable, powered loudspeakers. The new unit is a 400-watt, 2-way 12˝ loudspeaker, well-suited for applications that demand high-output and professional sound within a modest budget.
The speaker is tuned to match the 12˝ woofer and 1˝ compression driver. An integrated 3-band EQ on the back panel allows the user to dial in the TH-12A's tone, allowing for simple room correction or tonal adjust per application (vocal only, low-volume, etc.).

 

Featuring Mackie Active electronics, the crossover and transducer time-alignment promise to optimize the system while protective circuitry protects against overload and thermal shutdown. The TH-12A is pole-mountable and well-suited as a stage monitor with a lightweight design enhancing portability.

 

The TH-12A will be available worldwide in February, 2011 with a U.S. MSRP of $389.99.
