D.A.S. Audio's Road 12A and the Road 15A are low-profile 12-inch and 15-inch two-way powered stage monitors with neodymium magnet assemblies for the loudspeaker drivers, the new M-75N neodymium compression driver, a pure titanium diaphragm featuring a 75mm copper-clad, aluminum flat-wire voice coil and a copper shorting ring surrounding the pole piece for each motor system. The driver is attached to a new 40ºH x 60ºV horn.
The stage monitors, which will replace the SM And SML series monitors, are made from birch plywood and finished with Iso-Flex paint. Connectors are housed beneath the monitors, an LED clip indicator is beneath the front grille, and other features include Class D power amplification and a switch mode power supply (SMPS).

 

The amplifier offers 550W for low frequencies and 220W for the highs. The advanced DSP includes FIR filters for constant phase response, and two EQ presets are available - "Monitor" and "Main."
