GLASTONBURY, U.K. - At the 2011 Glastonbury Festival, Peavey provided an array of audio equipment for the Strummerville stage, a showcase celebration created to invoke the spirit of the late Joe Strummer by offering aspiring musicians the opportunity to play live to the masses at the U.K. music event.
Peavey designed the sound system for the Strummerville stage-which featured guest spots from Mumford & Sons, Emmy the Great and King Blues-to deliver high-quality audio as compactly as possible to an intimate audience.

 

Peavey provided a small-venue sound system consisting of class-D powered Peavey PR 15D enclosures, PR 12D enclosures for monitors, and subs, all running through a Peavey 24FX audio mixer at front of house. The Peavey 24FX mixing console includes a suite of built-in effects, which eliminated the need for outboard processors and helped keep the system compact.
