LIÈGE, Belgium — For an upgrade to the sound system within the Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Royal Opera of Wallonia), Riva Audio and XLR sprl provided a full L-Acoustics system. The setup includes 20 KIVA cabinets (two six-KIVA arrays in front of the curtain and two four-KIVA arrays to serve the lower seats) plus eight SB18 and 14 8XTi as infills. Two four-KIVA arrays round out the new design for the 1,440-seat venue.

CANANDAIGUA, NY — Working with JMZ Architects, AVL Designs provided technical gear for a 410-seat performance space and a smaller performance room within the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC) at Finger Lakes Community College. Tasked with the need to find suitable high SPL gear late in the design process, AVL Designs opted for Danley loudspeakers and subwoofers.

AUSTIN, TX — The Independent Film Channel (IFC) returned to SXSW 2013 with its fourth annual festival-sanctioned IFC Crossroads House. Vice Bar hosted both IFC's Interactive Week and the Music Week. Over the course of seven days, the IFC Crossroads House served up music and comedy events featuring Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera and Fall Out Boy, among others. StageTech relied upon two Allen & Heath iLive T-112s and iDR-48s for mixing audio levels at FOH and monitors.
