ATLANTA - The dogwood trees were in bloom in mid-April, and so were two major three-day events: the 75th annual Dogwood Festival in Piedmont Park and the seventh annual SweetWater 420 Fest at Candler Park. Soundcos supporting the Dogwood and SweetWater events were, respectively, Atlanta Audio Visual and Rock Quarry Productions. Both provided RCF TT+ systems.

Recently, the club made the move to digital mixing with the installation of an Allen & Heath iLive-T112 mixing console.

SAN MARCOS, TX - The building founded in 1941 as the Plaza Movie Theater has morphed over the decades, serving, alternately, as a movie palace, live theater and restaurant. Earlier this year, it reopened after a $2.4 million restoration as the Texas Music Theater, a live music venue. The renovation included new flooring, décor, and audio system including Aphex digital mic preamps and audio transport.

NASHVILLE - Cornerstone Church recently transformed a U.S. Postal Service sorting facility in Bowling Green, KY into a satellite sanctuary. The idea was to offer congregants a blend of live elements, including a band, with a videotaped sermon from the pastor at Cornerstone's Nashville home base. Nashville's Pro Audio Solutions prescribed and installed a sound system centered on Danley loudspeakers and subwoofers for the space, which was built from prefab metal walls and no concern for acoustics.

BILLINGS, MT - Pro Media/UltraSound recently installed a substantial EAW loudspeaker system at Rimrock Auto Arena within the MetraPark multi-facility events center here, including EAW AX Series speakers, SB Series large format subwoofers and CIS Series ceiling speakers. The project was part of a multimillion-dollar refit of the 12,000-seat arena, which was damaged by a tornado in June 2010.
